Jonny Flynn - Wolves Fan here...

Interest in Flynn? Are the rumors at all legit about the Wolves' interest in Mayo? I love Flynn, but a change of scenary might be good for both sides. I wouldn't be shocked at all if Kahn had a serious interest in Mayo. I know he had a serious interest in Thabeet during the time of the draft.

Corey Brewer is on the block, plus we own a first round pick from you. I don't know about you guys, but the Wolves and Grizzlies seem like realistic trading partners that could benefit both sides. I'd imagine Kahn would try to throw in Kosta Koufas if you make us take back Thabeet in any deal.

A lot of possible scenarios... Thoughts?

I'm thinking:

Grizzlies In: J. Flynn, C. Brewer, Koufos or J. Flynn, 1st Round pick, Koufos
Wolves in: OJ Mayo, H. Thabeet,

I would love some sort of Thabeet + incentive for Flynn deal.

Per the Grizz beat writer (see the big OJ trade thread for a link and poopshype's recant) the Grizz aren't looking to move OJ. Deals such as this one, is one of the main reasons. OJ's still to valuable (no matter his dip in stats) to the Grizz to move him at a bargain rate.

It's plausible only if that Minny's 1st Round pick is unprotected in 2011

While i wouldn't mind Flynn..... We need to get rid of Thabeet and do it with minimal damage.
