Somewhat unforeseen consequences of this deal: Haddadi gets real PT and produces (so far) - the Grizz may have a legit backup C on the roster.

Yeah, funny how it goes. Haddadi gets pretty much zero playing time over his tenure with the Grizzlies, and now at the end of his contract he becomes the #1 backup center, and like you said, in his debut he produces. We can only hope it wasn't a one game fluke.

Daddi looked really good. It's only one game against a not great team, but still.

I was happy to see Haddadi get some actual pt... I think he can produce consistently, but CONDITIONING, or lack thereof, early on will be a major factor. We will see how he does on a tough back to back tonight. He is gonna play hard - essentially playing for a contract somewhere next year...

Thabeet was a mistake, basically a Darko (although I think Darko will end up being a more productive player than Thabeet ever will) - hopefully Haddadi keeps it up
