I only watched the first half and changed the channel when the Nets went on a couple of those big runs. I thought it was going to be another of those games where they keep throwing the ball away and try risky plays rather than stick to the tight game plan, which usually works for them. Those backdoor cuts early on were great to watch.

I'm sorry now I didn't bother to go back to the game in the second half. Was it Speights himself that really stepped it up or was it a combination of Humphries and Petro simply playing poorly, which allowed Speights the openings to score and rebound?

And when I was watching, Williams and Brooks were getting open looks for their shots. Did the Grizzlies change their defence against them in the second half?
