^^lol.

The guy is limited from what I've seen from his days in Kentucky. The Magic imo wasted a pick on him and he'll probably be in D-Leagues soon after.

As for this matchup, the Magic already clinch the 6th seed in the playoffs to faceoff vs Indy. So it wouldn't surprise me if they play the scrubs to rest their players. As for the Grizzlies, they need to clinch homecourt in the first round by beating the Magic tonight and make the Clips come to them first.

something to remember :

Team w/ home-court advantage, 1999-2008
Series W L Pct.
First round 65 15 .813

so .813% chance if we can win tonight. we really defied the odds last year of upset of Spurs with 8th seed. Unfortunately the chance to win game 7 on road is less than 30% so I think we ran out of luck there against OKC. Now I see the odds are against us to go really deep. Even if we secure home tonight - chances are we're the road team the rest of the way (assuming we get beyond round1). Just have to BELIEVE! Sorry I'm jumping ahead but excited today.

I remember around this time last season I was mad at the Grizz for resting their players and drew the Spurs for round 1. As it turns out, I was wrong along with plenty of ppl. Last season showed me that inspite of the odds against you that anybody can be beat if you have faith and the right pieces to beat your opponent.

Haven't had access to this one, but I'm hoping that we are resting Tony Allen, Gay, and some other players. I saw Marc on the highlights and it is an important game, but we still need to prepare for the playoffs. Going to be a tough road ahead of us with the Clips and then likely the Spurs in the next round. (if we make it there)

The main starters outside of Speights didn't get that much rest. They are still doin the business and achieving the Grizzlies first home playoff advantage in Grizzlies history.

I'm super excited about HCA, but couldn't we beat this team without putting the starters to work? I would have put Zach in because he is still getting adjusted and allowed the rest of the guys to have a day off. Our backups are good enough to get this done, and we could have always mixed and matched. We are playing this Saturday. Pretty soon.

the backups looked ridiculous - they might have lost it. but maybe they were just cold. Arenas, Hudson, Haddadi looked AWFUL against DLeaguers. But now it's business time! 8-)
