When we were getting rid of Gay, Speights, Ellington, Selby and whoever else.. why didn't we get rid of Bayless too?

This guy's bad FAR outweighs his good, IMO..

It could be my imagination, but it looked like Gasol was wide open in the paint on that last play..

Doesn't matter at this point. The ride ends here. It was a great run while it lasted. We got bested by the best experience Spurs team. We have to take this experience from this journey and learn from it so when we return next season, we must do our best to go further.

Agreed.. I think we need to make a few personnel changes over the off-season (read: new 6th man), but mainly I'm hoping we use this to continue improving next season.

I will be mega pissed if we don't re-sign Hollins.

Coach Hollins did get the Grizzlies to this point. For having the best win-loss record in franchise history and making it to their first Western Conference Finals in franchise history. It would be great if Hollins stays and coach the Grizz beyond the WCF and into the Finals. That would be the day worth looking forward to.

He deserves a new contract with us, that's for sure...

I read somewhere that the Clippers were interested in him - oh please, don't let him go to LA, of all places!!!

I liked what Hollins did until the end, but have not been able in four matches (against Clippers we had the same problem, but they didnt abuse the pick & roll like the Spurs) to adjust the pick & roll defense, or generate new offensive playbook so randolph can receive more comfortable (and Gasol).
I think that fulfilled a cycle.

What I wouldn't give for a Redick-type player for this series..

for the first time this season I missed OJ Mayo.

We were completely dependent on Conley + Pondexter against Spurs ultimately, and made me long for Rudy + OJ. Not that they'd win it for us but with Zbo and Gasol neutered in the post, we didn't have enough second options that could compete with the deadly Spurs. They just sucked the blood right out of our veins. Even with Rudy + OJ we still got pounded inside by Duncan. He was unstoppable. No wonder he was 1st team again this year. If they ride him he will have another championship ring.

It will be interesting to see how the offseason goes and what they do with Tony Allen. Austin Daye has a QO of $4m so I think he's history. Leuer has $1m QO but you never know. I didn't see anything from him that says whether he's worth it or not. It's been a fun ride though, now for all the offseason speculation to begin!

man i'm dissapointed big time with grizzlies not winning even a single game...in my view this was a sweep for grizzlies if anything...coach hollins is still great...he outcoached poppovich a few years ago so i guess this is payback for spurs...grizz still good and can contend for champs for the next few also...sorry to see them go down like this...
