Well it's a non-guaranteed deal so there's not a lot of risk, and can he really be any worse than Prince?

If he'll come in with the attitude that he's a stretch 4 type specialist... then he maybe can make the roster. He's got to be willing to bang inside and grasp our concepts though.

He has the talent to be a good player so it doesn't hurt to see if this is the year he finally matured and puts it all together. It's possible but the more likely scenario is that he's still the same, in which case he brings nothing to the table except for somewhat decent shooting and rebounding as a stretch 4. He did have his best and most efficient season last year though, but i'm assuming that was mostly due to playing next to lebron.

As a small forward he's even worse, too slow, no playmaking skills, no defense, dumb as rocks.

I'm not getting my hopes up.

He could get better with Vince in his year

I guess this means we will not be trading for an experienced Power Forward.

Charlie Villanueva, who signed with Dallas would have been a better fit.

Do we really want another player on the Grizz who loves weed as much as he does? Allegedly!

Charlie V ? I rather take my chances with Earl Clark for real. Beasly has an upside that goes far beyond what Villanueva ever brought to the NBA. And at this point his talent pool has entirely dried up. besides Dallas has an affinity for washed up big men that I never understood (Brandon Wright, Tyson Chandler, Desanga Diop, Keith Van Horn, Popeye Jones, Raef Lafrenz, Danny Manning and infamous Shaun Bradley! :nonono: ).

I would not have cried if we brought Charlie V in for training camp but I doubt he would make the roster. Beasley definitely should... Although we could see a similar flame out that Allen Iverson had in Memphis as well. That is a real possibility here! should make some interesting drrama

I fully agree, Charlie V is a worse attitude player than Beas, and I would take Beas over him any day of the week. He really isn't a quality big man anytime in his career, Beas on the other hand I do think will play stretch (albeit I am not too thrilled about it, I kind of wish they just told him to play a 3 and traded away Prince) On another note, if we could get any player with a trade containing Prince, I would love to add the likes of Dieng, Biyombo, Julius Randle, John Henson, Harrison Barnes, or Harkless.
