Z-Bo continues to nurse a swollen knee and has miss tonight's game at Cleveland and is likely to miss Monday's game vs. the Jazz. TA has already missed two games due to a right eye contusion. His return time is undetermined.

We don't look good without them and as they age the sight of them in street clothes will be a common sight. We need to upgrade with young talent not more ageing vets. No to Ray Allen, yes to Tobias Harris or someone like him.

How about we grab some more high upside draft picks?

Its' possible, but given the state of the Grizzlies, they need to get more athletic at the SF position in the worst way. Especially with the Mavericks and Rockets making upgrades very recently.

That is what really scares me and that we stand pat and it costs us during the playoffs and we lose Marc G. because it would seem like we are incapable of building a winner here. Although EVERYTHING scares me so take it for what its worth.

I look at it from this point. Don't make moves for the sake of making moves. Although the Mavs did right by acquiring Rondo to help improve ball movement and ability to slash to the hole, his health is still a concern. A knee injury takes a while to get back to being 100% So how much has the injury may have damper his abilities to do what Rondo does best is the main question. The Rox did what the Grizzlies need to do eventually. Bolster the SF position by trading for a couple of well suited athletic players who are reliable on both ends of the floor.

Return to Memphis Grizzlies
