Solid win by memphis. Also have to wonder if our front court was sent by Joeger to a dance class at some point with the ballerina type spins they were using.

If the guys went to dance class at some point, it was effective. This game was a great matchup by both teams. They were able to keep Horford, Millsap, and Korver from being factors in the game by forcing their will on the Haks defensively. Great win by beating a great team that's known for giving them problems.

While I am glad to see we pulled this out, and kept my weekend from being a total bust, but we keep trading 3's for 2's which is troubling that this has not been addressed. If we shored up our 3 point defense teams would not be able to hang with us, and close games would be blowouts.

See I think Memphis knows this and that is why they are keeping their secret weapon under wraps until the playoffs. Lee will be shooting more 3s hopefully in the playoffs, look for conley to get some open looks, if udrih and carter right their shots see a couple from them, but our real weapon is Jordan Adams, the man is a killer behind the 3 point line with catch and shoots, and one of the biggest reasons Memphis got him in the draft, so I am looking forward to seeing what he's got come playoff time.

Good win as usual against as legit team. The Grizz have the defense to compete in the playoffs for sure. I would watch out for that 7-8 seed though. If that ends up being the Spurs or OKC this team may have trouble.

The Spurs for sure. They battled through injuries this season, but they are the Grizzlies best opponent in terms of finding ways to pick off the Grizz either by triple team Z-Bo at times of utilize their pick and roll schemes. Something the Grizzlies have yet to defend.

OKC is a huge question as they cannot stay healthy. KD missed some games again recently and now the renegade Steven Adams is expected to miss three weeks due to surgery on his hand(finger). It's between them, PHX, and NOP on who will get the eighth seed.

If Spurs stay in 7th I would be surprised, especially with injuries and poor play plauging LAC and Portland, I have us playing either the Clippers or Mavericks in the playoffs , then probably houston, and if we get to the conference finals probably play the warriors or spurs

1rst round

GS vs PHX (Division Rivals)

Spurs vs Mavs (Dirk vs Duncan? who wouldnt want to see it one more time before they retire)

Mem vs Clips (Old rivals)

Houston vs Portland (The under appriciated stars in the league: Howard/Harden/Lillard/Aldrige) Also this is a rehashing of last year's playoff first round giving houston another chance

Second Round
GS vs Spurs (New kids on the block versus tested veterans)
Memphis vs Houston (Division rivals)

then from there I will not make assumptions

If we do play the Clippers though, DJ is gonna have to get serious about controlling the game, because they play the style of ball we have trouble defending, lots of perimeter shots and lots of athleticism

Return to Memphis Grizzlies
