GALLO/ JEFF GREEN RUMOR!

Rumor is Memphis is looking for some shooting and the trade rumor is fairly simple

Gallo and our pick they own back for Green,

I know Gallo gets hurt alot, but it would be nice to get that pick back...

Could also mean if we get our pick back we can technically trade pick 25 this year!!!

So might be we get Gallo and pair him with pick 25 for an even bigger upgrade!

Wow. Gallo is a great scorer. This would be awesome.

Green/#25 would only be a start, though. I feel like we'd have to give up more. And they're definitely not giving us our pick back.

Zach Lowe, like i said framework of the deal, might be they do end up trading pick 25 for him, but we get our other pick back, either way not a bad move for the Grizz, and we avoid the Stiepan rule due to our pick being coveyed at the earliest to Boston I believe 2017 or 2018, Probably what it will end up being , gets Denver assets now and they try to flip the 25th and Green

So what you're (or Lowe ?) is saying is Gallo for Green and the future pick for the current 25th pick ???

Well, Green isn't a difference maker, never has been but stays healthier than Gallo. When Gallo is healthy (which his is right now) he has tremendous scoring potential and can play good defense. Then we trade for a very late first for what could be a better pick in 2017 (I'd rather take that chance) ??

Is Lowe THAT big of a hack to think DEN is desperate ?? Pretty sure DEN can do better...and why essentially trade away draft picks when we are rebuilding ?

This hasnt been rumored but some expect it could be expanded to include the Cavs in a three team trade:

Memphis gets Gallo
Cle gets Green
Den gets Haywood and pick 24

Too injured prone for the Grizzlies to lose the 25th pick over. Denver can keep Gallo. Next.

Agreed, I dont like Gallinari for this team. It is true we need a shooter from beyond the arc but not at any price. We need the bigs staying inside. Moreover, I dont see a "grit and grind" among his Basketball skills....

Gallo was a solid part in NYK when he was healthy. He would also provide this squad with somebody who could take over when Conley is out and Randolph/Gasol are 'neutralized'. By definition (and based on the warriors series even though Tony wasn't healthy), it would be a reasonable recourse for you guys
