Jordan Adams? Question from a non Grizzlies fan

Post#1 » by nickforthreee » Fri Dec 11, 2015 6:04 pm

why doesn't he ever play? I remember he got a few mins last year & has some flashes of potential. seems like he could provide shooting this team needs. is there a future for him in the Memphis rotation or no?

Yeah he is a good player, worked on his athleticism and defense, good outside shooter, just had knee surgery over the offseason so he isnt really needed right now so no need to hurry him back, same for Martin and Wright, all three can play now probably but Memphis isnt in dire need and a few more weeks wont hurt their healing

Has been out with a knee injury and is still unable to play. Grizzlies for whatever reason haven't provided timetables for Adams, Wright, or Martin but supposedly Adams and Martin will be able to play relatively soon.

I am a big fan of Adams and I think Joerger is finally ready to give him a shot when he's able to go.

Adams will definitely receive playing time this season, or at least deserves a shot. He has completely transformed his body from college and his handle has also come a long way. He plays under control, can shoot the basketball, and is a strong offensive bench option. I look forward to seeing how he produces.
