Re: Grizzlies (18-11) vs. Celtics (15-12)
3 losses at the FedEx in a row since Conley came back. (7-2 without him and one was when Marc rested @Cleveland) Last one was horrendous. I.Thomas dropped 44 on conley with 17FT (how many dribble-attackrim-fouls did we see? Conley very lost in D)
He did ok in the 4th and the OT. However, I dont like when Gasol&Conley play the pick and roll. It is pass and pass and pass and pass and pass and 5 seconds so either one of them shoots or J.Green for three. None of them attack the rim. I remember seeing gasol with 24 points at the 3rd Q or something like that. So scoreless in the 4th and ot? not too sure about that.
And why do we start the OT playing with two ISOs for ZBO?
I hope it was a redemption night after two losses and it looked like it at some point when we were 15 up or something like that, however, a Grizz game is never closed despite the pointdifference. So no hopes for tonights game...

Re: Grizzlies (18-11) vs. Celtics (15-12)
Watching our Offense at times is utterly cringe worthy. I was actually glad to see ZBO get tossed just so whomever he was guarding would stop scoring.
Tony Allen is the most unique player in the league!
From this moment forth I am going to gloss Conley/Gasol as the, "you take it brothers" since the offense goes thru them and neither is an Alpha Dog.
Here is a question that I plan to ask for the rest of the season regardless of the subject:
Are you sure we are okay with paying JaMychal Green north of 10 million per year for hustle?

Isnt 10 million like 5 millions a few years back? Ask the question again at the end of the season and we will see if he is worth keeping for that money. I hope he steps up.

My point is that I don't think JaMychal is the answer at PF and as prudent that small market teams have to be with there money it would be wise to package him with something to get a ROI. He is very limited in what he can do and at 27 years old he is what he is, and is unlikely to sign a two year deal at around 8 million per when someone will surely overpay pm a longer term deal and the Grizz will not and should not attempt to match.
