Re: Grizzlies (20-12) @ Magic (14-18)
something is clearly not working. Id say it is on the offense. We are rated 1st team in defense.
1st thing that is not working: Chandler Parsons. I have not seen a single game to give me hope, hope that he can actually help this team to be better. We will have to wait a bit more I guess. Btw, he has an awfull ball release. looks like the ball is either gonna be short or he is going to break the rim/backboard.
Also, the conley-gasol "yours and mine" it has been horrible. In a 24 second clock, they pass the ball to each other, just straight to the other like 4 or 5 times while the others are sitting in a corner. opponents would come for the help, leaving Green or Allen wode open (which is not a threat to be honest) So there you go: Bounce the ball for 10 seconds, 4-5 pick and roll leading to nowhere and a rushed shot from the three point line. (wow, we are a modern team cause we shot threes, we adapt to new nba, hoorey for us!!!)
I got to admit that those 9 game with Troy williams-daniels and harrison, with tony allen and marc gasol leading the team. Best 9 games of the season.

With Parsons, he had no training camp. Therefore he had no time to get acclimated with the team as necessary. Add to the fact he's been in and out of the lineup due to his injuries is the X-Factor to his struggles. Was Chris Wallace investment in Parsons was sorely misplaced? Right now, it seems to be the case right now until proven otherwise.

These type of losses are just another that we add under the,"JUST BECAUSE" column. Just because - player X needs to be rested, or Just because - we are on the second night of a back to back. These type of loses are the most frustrating to deal with because they are never because the other team is better, it is simply Just Because - whatever issue plagues us that prevents a winning culture and its dropping games we should not be losing regardless of the circumstance.
