Shelvin Mack has agreed to sign a one-year with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Mack spent last season with the Orlando Magic and was waived in June.

The Mack signing either means that the Grizz are concerned about Carter as the 3rd PG, or the plan on moving Conley into the off-guard spot. The challenge is that I don't view Harrison, Mack, or Carter as a great creator. So that scares me.

I believe they are keeping Harrison just in case Carter is not nba-caliber. However, Im pretty sure Carter Will make it and will be a realiable PG from the bench. When/if Conley is injured, Carter should start to battle with all those elite PG around the nba. He should be able to defend them just ok. Im not expecting anything from him in the offensive side of the court. I hope he becomes a reliable shooter, otherwise those elitePG will double Gasol and if he is open and cant make it, we have a big problem...

All in all, Welcome Mr Mack. Ill check youtube for some references about your game. To be honest, Ive heard your name before or something 2k related but I havent see you in action...

Add one more reason to the signing of Mack

Shelvin Mack is purely an insurance PG at this point in his career. He is spectacular at nothing, but solid across the board.

He'll serve as a steady hand in case J Carter is slow to recover form surgery or (god forbid) if Conley misses time this season.
