This trade makes no since. We give away JAM for nothing. A player on an ending contract, team option????

Temple and Green are both playing better than Bradley but hey we saved $3m and got a TPE. Surely someone would have taken Holiday into a TPE and maybe even given back a late 2nd.

This trade blows here. Could the Grizzlies have gotten something with more substance than AB?

This is only trade who makes me mad. The others I can live with, but not getting at least one second round pick out of JaM and Temple is really disapointing. Chris Wallace needs to go.

Our team has absolutely no direction or leadership. I'm personally of the mentality that everyone from coach, gm, and execs need to go. They have taken a perennial playoff team and run it into the ground. To make things worse, we are still in "cap hell" next season. We have traded one of our top talents for a decent return, but nothing great. I'd been happier with an expiring and a #1. We are still stuck with Chandler. We traded away JAM for nothing. Horrible management. We missed out on a decent trade for Conley with the Jazz. Rubio, Favors, and a #1 was a worth while return. Bad decision making.

I think this deal is all that was left after Houston was able to trade Brandon Knight to Cleveland. They simply waited too long to pull the trigger. Secondly individually neither Temple nor Green would have obtained Fultz from Philadelphia as they were able to procure a decent player coupled with a 1st & 2nd rounder.

This deal does give Grizzlies fans two things if they were not already certain.
!. Chris Wallace is still calling the shots in the front office and at minimum whoever he answers to is not a basketball mind, and probably just a number cruncher (Attorney/Accountant).
2. The current front office dynamic is unlikely to change this off-season.

This deal is indicative of the unimaginative stick to what and who you know vision that has "cursed" the franchise for more than a decade now. We are prisoners of what could be as we longingly look from behind bars hoping for freedom. "Just Good Enough" continues to rule the day in the Grizzlies Front Office.

I'm a bit surprised they didn't get a 1st FRP for this year to at least make up for the dumb situation that was the Jeff Green trade from three years ago. My guess is that acquiring Jonas Valanciunas, Delon Wright, and Tyler Dorsey so calls makes it up as they are young and are two years and more into the league. What will these guys show and can prove will depends on what will happen during the next two months.

The scary thing is that this may not be the case. There is a real possibility that Wallace had no real power this deadline and we still did dumb stuff.

JB and the FO hopefully get cleaned up this summer though I don't exactly have high hopes of Pera coming up with great replacements. We may promote from within when we really need someone from the outside with a fresh perspective. We have some decent candidates in house but nothing all that special plus Pera himself may be the real problem.

A lot of things hasn't exactly gone over well under Pera's leadership.

The Jason Levian Era
The relationship with members of the board.
Coaching changes- 3 potentially coming on four
Identity Crisis; Ushering from Grit-N-Grind to Unknown
Mixed bag of players who can either play in half-court or up-tempo schemes
Misuse of financial responsibility
Front Office incompetents
Pera's investigation into his company
Pera's absent relationship with the City of Memphis
Misidentifying players that best fit the schemes and goals of the organization.
