Congratulations on the win guys! And without your starters too. You guys are so exciting and dominant! I definitely won't be looking forward to our team playing you guys in the playoffs. Still, You guys are an amazing young team. And I can get behind the whole "future dynasty" narrative.

This win didn't make any sense.

The FO may have struck again with the Santi pick. Dude looked good tonight. But yes this win was crazy and unexpected.

I am really surprised Phoenix even played their starters with the top seed locked up. I know they are are trying to get back into rhythm with CP3 but I think I would have just bench them all like Memphis did.

Eh I kind of prefer playing starters still unless there is a back to back or a stretch of games every other day. If someone has any sort of soreness you rest them sure, but you also don't want your guys sitting for too long or they'll come out rusty game 1 of the playoffs. Now I'd restrict the minutes a bit and not let anyone play anything crazy, but I'd try to keep momentum going and definitely give time for CP3 and their guys to get reacclimated. For the Grizzlies specifically I probably would have played the healthy starters last night and rested against Denver next week when games are every other day. I then would pick one of the back to back games to end the season and played Ja and the rest of the team in only one of the games and then sit people in the other game. But doing it like they are is fine too. The starters get like 5 days off and then have a few games to stay in the groove before sitting in one of the back to back games. Then it will be a few days off as the play-in tournament happens before game 1 of the playoffs kicks off.
