Kleiman is clutching at straws signing and waiving players like a boss at a slavemart.

Jenkins is useless at player development and stars dont want to go to Memphis because he sucks.

Grizz are gonna be stuck in a hell hole of mediocrity until Kleiman and Jenkins go.

A top pick this draft, GG as a young prospect, and future 1sts (with swaps that somewhat raise the floor of two picks). That's a solid package. Not saying I would want to give GG up, but just that he seems like a sticking point in future trade discussions when star hunting.

Yes, I have been thinking about the same. I am currently at 60/40 in favour of keeping them both off of market because:
1. Their contracts are so friendly for 2 years ahead. This is our championship winfow.
2. There is a solid chance that it is another “Bane” fairytale story. Even better given that Vince is arguably the best on-ball defender in the league and GG’s size and athleticism remind me of some very exceptional examples.
3. We are not desperate for another star to be a true contender cause we are the one as of now.
4. If the star becomes available, #7 and future picks can make it happen. We would still be able to pay a fair/even good price.

Curious what other guys think.

If Jaren can truly play center I go after Lauri.
Ziaire, Santi, Jake, Konchar 2024 pick for Dunn/Lauri and Omer

Ja/Des/Smart/Lauri/Jaren
Dunn/Luke/Vince/GG/Clarke
DRose/Tarik/Lamar/Yuta/Omer

That's a title team

I am not a big fan of pairing JJJ and Lauri give their skillset looks somewhat duplicative. But FO might decide to give a try and then trade either Lauri or JJJ if the plan doesn’t work. It would still be a good consolidation type of trade.

That team would be on par with Boston and Denver in my opinion. Having that many high level guys who can also play off the ball would allow us to truly adopt the 5 out offense we have been running as of late.

The report on us being a dark-horse in the Mitchell sweep-stakes feels more like us being used to drive interest and/or our FO just reaching out to see if they could get something as a third team in any potential deal.

How would we feel about a Jarrett Allen trade? Probably would look like Luke+Ziaire as salary filler and then picks for value. Don't know if Cleveland would do it or not as they aren't looking to rebuild, but Luke is a quality role player and the picks could be flipped for something else for them.

In my view, Allen, if available, should be our next target after Clax. I see a big drop behind those two.
In terms of price, it is going to be rather painful. To the extent, FO might decide to wait until the deadline.

I'm with you on the drop off of centers likely available after Allen.

So far, it seems like the majority are in the Claxton/Allen camp as far as centers are concern. Another center to be mentioned here if it hasn't already is Capela. Not sure how the board's take on him truly is. For me, he's been solid more middle of the road type of center. defense, rebounds,. Offense is mostly on lobs and putbacks. My question about Capela will be concerning how he performs in the playoffs when it comes back around.

I don’t hate the Capela option

The chances of Clax re-signing with the Nets got decreased with the Mikal departure.

iHart will likely join the market, too

If the Knicks trade away Robinson as the rumors suggest, then I can see IHart resigning with the team. However, with the trade of Mikal Bridges joining the Knicks now, OG Anunoby return to the team is all but a moot point. As for Clax, I do agree his chances to return to the Nets should decrease unless he's all about the money right now. Otherwise, I can see him taking an offer somewhere else.

I am a Mavericks fan, and I come in peace. Would you guys have any interest in any of our end-of-the-bench players? For instance, Jaden Hardy, Dante Exum, A.J.Lawson, Olivier-Maxence Prosper, Brandon Williams, Greg Brown?

We are actively looking to dump/move Ziaire per Shams. Rose shouldn't be worth anything to anyone. I think Konchar could help a team out a bit if they wanted to take a flyer on him for a 2nd or something. Kennard I think we resign but are maybe waiting to make another move before agreeing to the details of the deal.

Oh no. We are interested in draft assets only, so our teams are not great trade partners. See you guys in PO.

LaRavia is a fringe rotation player for us as of right now. Lawson likely doesn't make our team over a guy like Scottie Pippen Jr. LaRavia doesn't have a ton of value but he at least has some and is showing flashes of a breakout. So we would have to have a good reason to move off of him.
