Mike's getting old and didn't play much D - even in his prime. Only suited up for 54 games this season. However, if you could get him on the cheap, wouldn't be opposed to seeing him back here at all.
Personally, I'd love to see the Grizz somehow snag Shane back. I know it won't happen - but still...

Mike Miller is what we needed this season...

Re: Hollins and Grizzlies agree in pinciple
Lionell Hollins has earned an extention, no doubt. He stuck with the program when it had to be frustrating watching the young team go through growing pains and this season it began to pay off. He isn't a miracle worker but he kept the team competitive and utilized players best attributes to mesh the team although there still were inconsistancies, but that's to be expected with a still young team. My only question really is whether he can come up with an improved defensive scheme for next season that the players will buy into.
As for the other tweets, we have talked about veteran leadership, bench depth, and long range shooting all season long. It isn't a big secret. But does adding those ingredients mean shuffling out any of their starters, who couldn't lead in fourth quarter pressure situations, or better backcourt shooting?
It is telling when Gay says they need veteran leadership. Randolph is a veteran who lead the team on a number of fronts and Gay himself is looking for a big second contract. Aren't big paid players supposed to "lead"? What exactly is Gay looking for?
But I'm off track. It's good to see Hollins staying on and hopefully with a couple solid offseason changes he can get them into the playoffs next season.

I love the accountability that Hollins has bestowed on the team.
