Mike Bibby for a future 2nd round pick.

would the Griz be interested? Memphis gets a vet PG on a short contract to back up Conley, and Bibby's 3pt shooting should take some pressure off of Randolph.

Hawks can move Crawford to PG and get so cap space to sign a SG to replace Joe.

I'm not sure the Grizzlies have enough cap space to absorb Bibby's contract.

I can't speak for anyone else but I wouldn't mind him. He would be a good back up behind Conley because he's experienced and can spread the floor. The problem is he's a liability on defense and his contract runs one year too long (2012). If he expired after the 2011 season, I think the Grizzlies would bite.

I just can't see it. Plus, if the OP thinks Crawford's the answer for the Hawks at PG - that's just rich...

^ although i would love to sign a quality PG like Jack, their are just no decent PG free agents this year, but their are a few decent mid-level talent perimeter players available this summer.

Will Bynum is decent. Shaun Livingston is decent. Even Mike James could be considered decent. Since the last draft was so deep in pointguards and alot of teams have depth there, I think those three could end up signing for a lesser amount than they think they might get. And all three could fill a backup role.

And here's my Mike Bibby story. I was waiting around one time outside the Grizzlies dressing room for Mike Dickerson, who one of my friends uncle helped financially when he was growing up in Seattle(true story), when a loud group of guys came down the hallway under the stands. I asked one of the security guards who they were and he said it was Mike Bibby's group( they called them a possee at the time). They were a loud arrogant bunch of his friends that hung around Bibby, much like I imagine Zach Randolphs bunch. Some of the Grizzlies wives and girlfriends weren't impressed. Anyways, Bibby was aloof in his time in Vancouver and wasn't a good team player. Maybe since he's older he matured but I don't think he is the right guy to have on Memphis.

no.... :nonono:

i like Bynum, but i wouldn't want to pair him up with Crawford. i would rather give serious money to a big PG who can help Jamal on defense like Jack, Harris, or Kidd. but as it stands, their is more selection at the 2guard

I was talking about Memphis and their need for a backup, not Atlanta.

If the Grizzlies can nab Bledsoe at #25, I think Anthony Carter should be signed.

He's experienced and can fill in for 10-12 minutes per game. He accepted being a third stringer this past season in Denver, so if Bledsoe emerges as Conley's back up, I think he would be fine.

I would rather trade down and take Greivis Vazquez than gamble in Bledsoe. Vasquez is tall and has being a PG for all his life, things that Bledsoe don“t bring to table.

Vazquez has a champion in the organization in Barone Sr. who thinks he will get picked in the first round when everyone else has him in the second. He is scheduled to work out for the Grizz next week and if he impresses then look out. He could be our #28.

As for the debate Vazquez versus Bledsoe, who are you comfortable with as a starter in 2011, that's the one you should draft?

I would rather Damon Stoudamire come out of retirement. I'd rather Lionel Hollins come out of retirement than see Bibby play for Grizzlies again. I might not even watch them if they traded for him.

as Downtown mentioned, he's an ignorant thug and he brings disgrace to our species.

I'm a Hawks fan too and i would start Teague as PG before JC. Hopefully Larry Drew has a better repertoire with young PG's than his predecessor did. :x
