when will memphis?

Post#1 » by popeye64821 » Fri Jun 18, 2010 11:27 pm

when will you guys finally hand the keys over to oj? i mean whenever i watch him play (im in nj, so not very often) he plays great....he's very unselfish and a very good defender......his game reminds me of kobes, of course he's not as good (yet), but i think he is more of a franchise player than rudy....his game reminds me of kobes, he just has to get clutch, and get even more offensive moves and he would be an nba all star for years to come....anyone else agree? or since you watch him more often than i do, do you think he's not franchise player material?

he is the next kobe, and really nobody is close but him.
in terms of game he is a mix of kobe/ray allen/gilbert arenas.
he is about to play pg some. so his he is about to takeover the league.
even michael jordan had his best statistics when he played pg for the last 25 games in 89' averaged 30/10/9 over that stretch
OJ Mayo , Michael Jordan , Allen Iverson.

i agree i think he is the closest player to kboe in terms of skill.....kinda funny how last gen was lookin for the next mj and they found him in kobe (not sayin he's better but imo jordan's 1a and kobe's 1b, just my opinion).......and this gen will be looking for the next kobe.....hopefully the next kobe is oj.....

Between laughs, I was attempting to figure out whether you are related to OJ Mayo are ever watched more than five games of his?

#24 for the Lakers is the best player on his team. Currently Mayo is the fourth best player for the Grizzlies. In his defense he deffered aspects of his game for the benefit of the team this year but the comparison overall is really jumping the shark.

MJ also never played point guard in his Chicago Bulls career.

#24 for the Lakers is not close to MJ either, our society has a right now or what's current mentality so we want place more emphasis on what we are seeing or experiencing as the best ever when actually it is only decent. MJ inspired and people marvelled at what he did on the floor, no one is in awe of #24 as his shot selection and shot taking is only surpassed by A.I. for utter disdain by teammates.

No disrespect to O.J. but he's not close to O.J.

He's more of a three point shooter while Kobe is/was a slasher and mid-range shooter.
