Shame we can't move DC to make room for Wilkins and Thomas. We need both a defensive wing presence that can hit a 3 as well as a backup/vet 4.

I personally don't think Wilkens can add anything. As a longtime Sonics fan I watched him for years try and become a good NBA player. A bit of a ballhog, ill timed shots thrown up from everywhere, and not really a solid defensive player. With Sam Young and Tony Allen, I think they have much more than what Wilkens brings off the bench.
Luke Jackson has never made much of an impression in his career. I don't expect him to suddenly emerge.
Kenny Thomas is a guy I've always thought was a bit underated. He was decent at both scoring and rebounding but was always stuck at the end of a teams bench. I think of the four he could be the best depth guy as insurance at power forward.
The other guy I have no idea about.

Wish they would pick up a PF that could stretch the floor...even a one dimensional one like Steve Novak (well he's more of a SF).

The Grizz plan to use Rudy Gay at the PF position some. He played the position mostly in the Worlds this summer.

Luke Jackson could be a poor Kapono, something we needed last season...

Sure we could've used a three point specialist last season. Luke Jackson isn't one of them.

He was supposed to be an outside threat coming from Oregon right? Or I´m making a mistake?

Kenny Thomas is the only one that has a chance of sticking around after training camp IMO.

Yeah he was supposed to help spread the floor for LeBron.
But he had the back surgery his rookie year and never recovered from that. Then again, I'm not sure if he ever would've transitioned to anything more than a serviceable shooter.

Would be better off taking a chance on Adam Morrison than Luke Jackson at this point. Although Ammo is currently working out for the Wizards.

Adam Morrison isn't good at anything, absolutely nothing. I mean the Lakers had about 2 three point shooters the last 2 years and his only competition at back-up SF was Luke Walton who plays about 10 games in a row without getting injured and he still couldn't play

Let's give him the spot! I concur. Good backup with solid NBA experience.

It would be cool for me to see my boy Josh Davis make the team. Can't believe he is still trying out for the NBA after all these years. Used to play ball with him in the gym when I was out in Wyoming for the year and got to see him win the conference championship. Cool cat. Man, that was like 9 years ago now.
Anyone tell me how he has been doing so far?

definition of an NBA journeyman. He has been in and out of the D League.
Played for 4 different teams in four years in the NBA. Chicago Philadelphia Milwaukee Indiana and now Memphis. Between his stints in Milwaukee and Indiana he played for Dynamo Moscow in the Russian Superleague and then Kyiv in the Ukrainian league the year after.

I'm genuinely surprised. He must not have anything left in the tank; I thought the Grizz would jump at the chance to add an experienced veteran in the frontcourt

Maybe we're just trying to pick up some developing talent? ^

Wilkins and Davis not practicing today, per Herrington twitter. Looks like they've been visited by the Turk. Roster now locked @ 14.
