Clawmarks of the Game

1. Get the offense going strong out the gates.
2. Win the battle of the boards.
3. Defense has to be emphasis vs. the Suns backcourt. Don't let J-Rich blow the hell up for 38pts. Not exceptable. Make the Suns work for their shots.
4. Revenge! The Grizz owe the Suns a plenty for Friday night's loss.
5. Make your FTs!

How about we succeed at missing a free throw this time round.

"Payback's a bitch!"

Don't let them shoot. We need about 75 points in the paint. We got this

Everyone not named Z-Bo pretty much doing nothing. Rudy Gay needs to get involved, doing a lot of standing at the 3 point line

Nice game so far. Pretty even scoring distribution for our team. Also, Hakim Warrick missing free throws. Glad he's gone.

Wow, wait to change the call to a flagrant foul.....

5 on Gay, 5 on Gasol.

Come on Rudy Gay....

Nice strip by Mayo but bonehead court awareness by Gay.

It's going to be pretty hard though at this point, thank God!

We look like a different team during this home stand.

Not quite the beat down I hoped for, but at least the Grizz didn't have to rely on bad officiating for the win.

Pretty good game by Henry, kind of forces a lot of stuff but he looks alright. I like the strategy of taking Mayo out at the 3-5 minute mark of the 1st quarter and putting in Henry as he gets to play with the starters and Mayo adds some firepower to the bench. Hollins' substitutions seem much better these past two games, not seeing those hockey subs much with usually 2 starters in at all times.
Rudy Gay got it done in the 2nd half, he scored 18 points in the 2nd half and helped push that lead to double digits. Mayo and Gasol have started super slow, Mayo right now is good for one 5 minute stretch a game while you don't even notice Gasol sometimes.

Gay really is getting the job done on both ends of the floor. Got to give him the Grizzlies MVP thus far.

Mayo has hit some shots down the stretch, but I am still not overly impressed by his shot selection.

I definitely agree on the Hollins rotation issue. It seemed like the 2nd unit was much more effective against Phoenix (especially their bench) this time around.
Good win. OJ played a better team game today and ZBo straight beasted.
