Save us Greivis

Post#1 » by mid-post » Sun Nov 14, 2010 5:46 pm

Dumb thread title aside, what do you guys think of his game (in general or last night)?
I thought it was great to have a guy coming off the bench who played with so much composure, confidence and...balls. He knocked down some big shots and brought great energy. Personally I think he'll end up being a nice player for Memphis.
And oh, yeah, Law needs to go. Like 2 weeks ago.

Agreed. Between he and Law, Vasquez should be Conley's primary backup - see my post in the Celtics game thread.

Greivis had a good night because he was able to hit his open shot and did not turn the ball over as much as expected. Still, his handle leaves a lot to be desired imo.

Vasquez is nothing more than a poor bench option in my book because he is not a pure point. His lateral speed is downright terrible against NBA point guards as well. That's why he doesn't see a lick of time off the bench, while Law does.
