Grizz up 20 in the fourth. This is the best the Grizz have played in awhile.

And this is why the team sucks to watch. They can play with anybody and they've shown it multiple times that they can hang with and beat the better teams in the league yet you lose to the Kings, Nets, Cavs and Wizards.

Wow, what a head scratcher. The only explanation is that the Grizzlies are bipolar....

Probably the best game they played this season. To be honest, I didn't expect them to win considering the missed opportunities they had in the last two games. Tonight's game, they drew a Lakers team who have been struggling in and out the last month inspite of their record. The Grizz managed to put together a game plan and took advantage of the Lakeshow on both ends of the floor. They have to continue to play in this manner if they have plans on marching to the playoffs.

For the posters on realgm that think Memphis has OJ Mayo coming off the bench because they don't think he is good enough to start should have watched this game. Tony Allen working hard on defense while letting the others score, then bringing Mayo in off the bench to keep momentum going looks like a solid strategy to me.
Other than the third quarter run when Bryant started to take over Memphis looked in control the whole way, although I don't know why Phil Jackson didn't give Andrew Bynum more time since he looked to be getting the better of Marc Gasol. But Hollins did a good job of calling timeouts to slow down the Lakers momentum and every time he did the Grizzlies responded and gained control back.
All in all a very satisfying win.

This team is so damn frustrating. Sometimes it's a chore to watch them play, sometimes it's really great.
I'm not sure if the Lakers were playing like ass, the Grizzlies were just on a roll, or a combination of both. But this is the kind of play fans are expecting from this squad.
