Game thread holler.
Ben Gordon is the kind of guard that, theoretically, OJ should match up well against. Then again Gordon can absolutely blow up on people and OJ isn't a very good defender.
Detroit is not a very good team, but if Mike, OJ and Gasol keep playing the way they have recently then it could be ugly.

We should win, but again, the outcome remains in doubt. We gave them opportunities last time we played them, but they could just not hit shots. Maybe they will this time?
Honestly, I think that we should win and end the losing skid, but you never know.

Thabeet had a decent game against Charlotte, one of the few players that actually brought something that game yet he brings in Haddaddi to spell Marc. That just doesn't make sense

I get your point, but maybe they felt like dadi deserved some PT. He only plays every 15 games or so.

I just think it sends a bad message to the player that it really doesn't matter if you play well or not. I also think it hurts his confidence which is one of his biggest problems

I hear you. I just try not to think about the whole Thabeet situation to be honest.
But back to the game, I think that's the first time I've seen Rudy use that "swing-through" move effectively.
Grizz are up 8 after being down 14 early. They're moving the ball very well. Hope they get the win.

We should win this contest. Detroit is in a state of disarray, especially considering the fact that much of their team may be involved in this proposed blockbuster deal. That has to impact a player's game mentality.

Grevis Vasquez needs to cut the no-look crap, it's nice that you can do that but can you please stop doing it two out of every three passes?

Zbo the Destroyer! If he keeps this up, he'll be in the conversation for a second All Star appearance!

I was against resigning Z-Bo at the start of the season but he's made it too hard. He should be the #1 priority this offseason and if you got to make a choice between Gasol and Randolph, pick Randolph

The beauty is, you won't need to choose. Jaric's money makes signing both possible, even with Mike's heist cash and Rudy's extension.

Don't count on that. Heisley is more likely to pocket the money than to spend it. Look what happened with the Gasol trade and then MIke MIller /Brian Cardinal contract dumps. We were supposed to have all that money to spend for the 3YP and instead we got more and more draft picks and let Warrick, Navarro, Dhantay Jones all walk. And it's the fans fault for not supporting the team he says. So think about that when Gasol and Stoudamire are playing the THunder in the Finals in 2012
I think we'll be lucky to get either MGasol OR ZBO. I strongly doubt they go after both. And I actually am not sure it's a good idea to anyway.

Somewhat true, but you realize that we used a chunk of capspace to trade for Zbo - substantively the same thing as outright signing a free agent, if only different in form.
