When: Friday, January 28th
Where: Wells Fargo Center
Time: 6:00 PM CST
1. First game of the 10 game suspension for OJ Mayo
2. 76ers have picked it up lately winning 7 out of their last 11 games, they come into the game on a 3 game winning streak.
3. Philadelphia is 14-7 at home, good for T-12th in the NBA
4. This will be the 5th straight game against a team with a losing record

Key Matchup
You got the two athletic swingman in Iguodala vs. Gay and the two quick point guards in Holliday vs. Conley. However, if the Grizzlies are to win Marc Gasol should not only win but dominate his matchup against Spencer Hawes

This would be a big road win here. The Sixers have been playing well lately, and we really need this win to pull closer to 500.

Edit: Eric Snow just called Rudy Gay a fellow Spartan in the pregame. How does this guy have a job?

Horrible defense on that- why was one guy covering two perimeter shooters? Lucky as heck that Iggy missed a rimmed out three.

jodie meeks 4 point play, randolph makes his free throws, and tony battie throws the ball out of bounds. Epic fail for the Sixers.

The game changed in a positive way for the Grizzlies when Thabeet came into the game. what? :o Guy still has terrible conditioning though, guy was gassed after 7 minutes in the game. They played awful and no energy but somehow won the game, don't want to rely on it but good to be on this side of the coin. Now go take care of business and mop the Wizards tomorrow to get to .500

42-21 in the 4th. Wow. I picked one hell of a game to miss while my DVR is having issues.

And did anyone notice how Thabeet was able to clog the paint in the zone defense, that's two for two guys, closest thing we can get to replicate Thabeet's college presence unless he gains some BBIQ in the next years.

Some fair weather fan I am. I changed channels to the Raptors/Bucks game when the Sixers built the big lead at the beginning of the fourt quarter. I was convinced Memphis had lost. I'm then watching the Celtics/Suns game and I see the final score scrolled across the bottom of the screen.

Needless to say I was very surprised.

Sixers fan here. We're all about grasping defeat from the jaws of victory it seems like every 4th quarter we play.

Good game to you, man we suck.

Tony Allen did:

Tony Allen wrote:Hasheem Thabeet played good in that zone, . . . Those guys (the Sixers) didn’t want to drive and go against that tree. That allowed us to play aggressively on the perimeter.
