This guy was suppose to be someone with lots of talent and a bright future and you guys have him coming off the bench now, and on some nights barely playing. What exactly happened with him?

He will be the best shooting guard of the next generation, while being able to play some PG . which is about 2 or 3 season away when all the young players enter their primes. Hollins has been holding him back since his rookie season, when Hollins came on board OJ went from an explosive talent to standing on the sidelines, to eventually sitting on the sideline. He is a big time potential no questions asked. When it is all said and done his career will be somewhere between Ray Allen and Kobe Bryant. It is up to him which side of the spectrum he wants to be on.
OJ only has 20 games left of being held back, then the playoffs and he will be traded in the offseason most likely on draft day, and then the fun starts again. OJ is not incompetent he knows it is a contract year, and he and his managment team will demand a trade in the offseason, because at the end of the day OJ wants to get paid and paid big big money. Rudy Gay max money, and the only way that is going to happen is if he goes to a team that is willing to put the ball in his hands and allows him to be a bigtime playmaker. Larry Bird was willing to take that chance but he was literally a minute too late.
The future is bright for OJ Mayo, don't worry he will get his shine on, it is now a question of where he will take his talents into doing so.
