The Lowdown:
Wednesday night, the Grizzlies got their asses handed to them on a silver platter. We allow the Thunder dictate the game at their own pace and the Grizz played right into their hands. This is what happens when you go away from the things that got you here in the first place. We have to keep in mind that we did not get to this point to choke out this series. They got here b/c they fought through hell to get this far. Just b/c they got embarrassed on TV by 20 plus pts doesn't mean they are out this series. They just need to dig deeper and fight harder to win the next two games. They know what the Thunder's weaknesses are center at. Attack those weaknesses at will, the Grizz must control the pace of the game on their terms, not on the Thunder's. They are back at home in front of a great Memphis crowd who has brought the explosiveness back to FedEx Forum since the playoffs began. If you ask me, the Grizz owe the Thunder 99 ass whippings. Like the mailman's job states: "It's time to make that delivery."

That was crazy. They have to do a better job in the second half. Second chance pts, bad shots, and missed defensive assignments are getting them killed. Only down 10. So the options here is to limit the Thunder offense to the perimeter, box out and win the rebound battle. And make better shot selections.

Ball needs to be in Conley, Randolph and Gasol's hands the vast majority of the time in the 2nd half. Everyone else needs to be ready to shoot or move the ball. Be aggressive. Play hard. Go Grizzlies!
