Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph was selected to the 2010-11 All-NBA Third Team, the league announced today, the first All-NBA selection for both Randolph and the Grizzlies franchise.
Leading the Grizzlies organization to new heights this season, the 6-9, 255-pound forward posted 20.1 points (19th in the NBA), a career-high and franchise-record 12.2 rebounds (3rd) and 2.2 assists on .503 shooting in 36.3 minutes in 75 games in his second season in Memphis.
Guiding the team to its first playoff appearance since 2006 and subsequently helping to change the basketball culture in Memphis, Randolph has poured in 22.0 points, 10.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists over 11 postseason games for the Grizzlies, who have tied for the most victories by an eight-seed in Western Conference Playoff history (six).
