Thanks, hadn't seen that.
I'm still pretty high on Henry. I thought he showed pretty good effort and potential defensively and as a rebounder. I really hope his jumpshot comes around at some point.

Hollins saw enough in him to play (and even start him) in games prior to his injury. It would be great if he could bounce back and make an impact similar to what DA did this year.

As the unofficial president of the Xavier Henry Fan Club, I know he'll bounce back. He'll probably get buried on the bench to start the season, but I think he can find minutes at some point. He showed enough in his brief playing time to tell me he can be a valuable role player.

When did Henry show good stuff, a game or two? He was largely terrible starting from preseason and up to his knee injury. Guy has to show a lot more to even pick up his option

LOL his bball iq and defense alone gets him minutes on any team

He created some wide open looks for himself that he just couldn't hit. His jumper was just not very good this season.
But I thought his defense, rebounding and basketball IQ were really solid, especially for a rookie.

I can't remember which one, but he played exceptional defense on Kobe Bryant in one of the Grizz home games; but that was probably his best performance of the year - other posters can correct me on that one.
Hopefully his outside shot will come around so that he can be a steady contributor when called to provide some scoring off the bench next year.

He played very well against the Lakers once. I think it's the main reason Henry gets high praise or whatever since any team or player who plays good against the Lakers gets immediately overrated. That's honestly his best effort of the season by far which is highly memorable since it's against the Lakers but his def. rating was 111 for the season which is horrendous. I don't see the good defense from him right now, could he be a good defender in time? Yes. Was he a bad one this year? Yes. Probably just put him at the 3 spot since that's what he should be.

Well good. Hopefully, his growth is not stunted by the lockout.

It's funny if he's the 1st round pick then Vasquez was last year's and meaning he's 1 year ahead of Henry in terms of development. Again, Vasqeuz is like 5 years older than him as well. It's his time to prove it as well. Is he for real? No sharing minutes with JWill this year. Seriously Vasquez was born in 87 and Henry in 1991! Kid wasn't even alive during Desert Storm. Wow.
Now Henry and Selby are our rookies this year - that means whatever we can get out of them is a bonus. Somebody better please shoot higher than 13% from downtown though!!
