Where will Shane Battier end up signing? Are the Griz interested in re-signing him?

Grizz would love nothing more than to resign Shane. However, he'll be likely 1) too expensive and 2) want a better/more defined role.

So yeah but not going to happen.

And we'll have less than zero money available trying to resign Gasol. There are rumors Shane is going to help out Detroit

Shane will end up in Houston, Detroit or with a contender if he wants to chase a ring. I really wish Memphis was in the mix. Just not meant to be at this time.

Shane has talents in the post and can shoot from distance and is a good defender definitely a good teammate.

The news that he is signing with Miami really ruined my day when I heard it. Why do we not keep veterans like him on the roster?

It didn't come as a surprise that Shane was going elsewhere. He's a vet and that what vets do. He felt the need to go to another team who was knocking on the door to the finals. Miami is one of those teams.
