It's good to be back. I like the comment Zach Randolph made about the Grizzlies having a good chance of going far since they have their roster back( he must know that they will absolutely re-sign Gasol), have all been working out, and with a shortened season they can get out of the gate fast and have staying power for the whole season.
Gotta like it.
I do feel for a team like the Hornets. They only have something like six players returning, will have a very short time to sign enough to make up a roster, have a very short training camp, and I'm not even sure if there will be time for a pre season game. That is extremely tough to overcome.

Thank goodness it's over. I don't think that I've posted on the Grizz board during the entire lockout; I stuck to the General board to argue about the legal aspects of the lockout - but now I'm pumped to start talking about the Grizz again.
Obviously, our priority number 1 is to resign Marc and after that we need to flesh out the bench. Interestingly enough, Tillery has mentioned that the Grizz are interested in resigning Battier as well as Marc - Heisley has shown a willingness to spend if the circumstances are right. Beyond the immediate abbreviated offseason, I think it's likely that we will look to move OJ at the trade deadline, so we need to keep an eye out for potential trade candidates as well.
If you can't tell, I'm too excited to get the NBA going again.

I'm glad it's over as well. It looked real bad. At least it didn't get too far like the 1999 lockout. As for the posting here, I don't think I've posted here since the draft. Way too long. So it's good to be back.
