Rudy has started off well tonight. I think he and Melo like to battle, although usually Melo is the one with the upper hand. Hopefully Rudy and Memphis can win this one to get back on track.
And it would be really nice if what Shaq said about Rudy comes true.

I went to this game. Knicks lost but I got to take a few pictures with Allan Houston.

Great win. If we play defense like this consistently, we might win some games without Zbo. We also got very lucky to catch NY on the second night of a back-to-back with overnight travel, too.

Knicks were never going to win without Melo on the floor, and Amar'e hardly played. It shows how pathetic the Knicks depth is. When I watched the Grizzlies, it is like they have 2 different teams against the Knicks.

There was a small typo on the OP:

Amare hardly played bc he was in foul trouble dude. That's bc he couldnt hang in the Grindhouse! Their depth is pretty bad because they went with over-the-hill guys instead of talent (Baron Davis, Bibby, and jared Jeffries!??!?). Those 3 players alone kill them but alas the super team philosophy with Tyson Chandler is not gonna get it done. They will wish they could amnesty him instead of Chauncey Billups b4 it's over. Other than that they have some nice role players (Toney Douglas, Harrelson, Novak, and Walker). Sky Walker is a real wild card though. I've been impressed with the play of Renoldo Blackman this year and over the summer with Team Puerto Rico.

I was impressed by the way Memphis played team defence. They collapsed the lane together and made Knick players think twice about driving the lane alot of times. They also brought the weakside help quickly anytime Stoudemire, Anthony, or Chandler got the ball low, thus again giving the impression there would be quick double teams, thus forcing the Knicks to kick it back out, where the Grizzlies perimiter players quickly moved out.

And I thought their offence played simple, cutting basketball with good execution of plays.

All in all it looked like solid team basketball with not much in the way of any big Knicks runs other than garbage time there at the end.
