Grizz not getting enough calls.

This is just something that's been bothering me, and I was again reminded of it tonight watching us lose to the spurs.
I know every fan probably thinks his team doesn't get enough calls. But I think we have a more legitimate complaint.
The FTA count was even tonight (21 to 21), and that's the problem. The Spurs shoot a very high number of jumpshots, and when they are in the paint, there are a lot of non-contact shots from Parker and the other guards. In other words, they are a finesse offensive team.
The Grizzlies are not. Most of our offense is in the paint, and nearly everything we get there is body-on-body, hands-on-arms.
I can't find official statistics on it anywhere, but it seems like the Grizzlies as a team are near the top of the list in FG attempts in the paint. And yet we're only middle-of-the-pack in FTA (14th).
I can see teams like Denver (who just play a lot faster and therefore have more opportunities to get there) outshooting us at the line. I can see teams like Miami - who have 2-3 guys who are just flat out unguardable going to the basket a lot of the time - outshooting us.
But teams like SA and OKC who rely heavily on jumpshooting should never get as many FT's as us. And yet they have, I believe, in all 6 meetings this season.
I don't know what's going on. What I do know is that I have had to throw away a lot of my stuff in recent weeks due to breaking them in anger while watching this unfair officiating.
I just feel like as long as we're playing our typical offensive game, we should average 10-12 FTs per quarter. But I guess the refs don't see it that way.
