That trade ain't working out, is it? Richard Jefferson has been irrelevant ever since he was traded for Yi Jinlian. Monta Ellis and Udoh both gone. Now we beat their new team on Saturday. I think this old team will go down without much of a fight tonight.

The Warriors are missing some key players for this game. Doesn't mean the Grizz should just assume to knock them out the park. Just handle their business on both ends and hope that another win will result from their hard work.

The point of the trade was to get Andrew Bogut, whose impact can't be judged until he's back next season. Jefferson's been fine. As for going down without much of a fight, I doubt it. I'm guessing the Grizz win, but the Warriors seem to play up or down to the level of their competition, so I'm expecting a close one.
PS: Why is it that after about a decade in Tennessee, the team is still named after a bear that can't be found anywhere outside a zoo back East? Seems to me that something like the Memphis Blues might be a better fit.

This game is so fukken ugly. This is pissing me off that I'm wasting sleep watching this
crap. And WTF is Nate Robinson doing going off right now? He's straight chucking everything up at the rim and it's dropping.

Not really sure what changed in the game except that the bench really stepped up and pulled this game out of the **** for us.

I've miss this game due to class. Seems like Mayo, Conley, Arenas, and Cunningham kept the Grizz in the game.
Mid-post, Nate always had a history of being a Grizz killer. That explains why he always goes off on the Grizz like he always does. Kinda reminds me of Speedy Claxton when he used to do that to us.

Memphis Blues has been suggested due to the city's music history. Blues as a team nickname is kinda bland. Grizzlies sounds better. It demonstrates ferocious and attitude. A force to be reckon with.

That was a fight alright! I came down with illness and missed the game entirely but luckily we got another one coming tonight!
I do hope for your team that Bogut has some good years left in him. They might be dangerous if they could build around that. They still have life as last night proves.
I think the reason they stayed the Grizzlies is that everyone likes the bear. We do have lots of black bears in Tennessee. In 2005 they redid the logos to make the bear blue instead of brown so that at least customized it. The ursus horribilis is the most formidable bear on North America. By the time they transfer over to Memphis all you had to do was look at Pau and realize we were the Grizzlies.
I have a few questions for you too. Why are the New Orleans Jazz still the Jazz in Utah? Do they even have musicians in Utah? Probably not any Jazz musicians. Where are the Minnesota Lakers in Los Angeles? Shouldn't they be the LA Whores or something like that? Charlotte Hornets should have become the New Orleans Jazz perhaps and maybe they have Hornets in Utah? The Sacramento Kings are named after a rodeo in Kansas City, the "American Royal". Why keep the Kings name when moved from Kansas City? I don't know the answers but it is certainly fishy.
