Nothing comes easy with the Suns. They are fighting for a playoff spot while we're fighting for a better spot in the playoff race. The Grizz will have to take the Suns 3ball game from them and force them to play the Grizz game.

terrific team win. Suns were really coming at the Grizz hard and playing outstanding defense but the Grizz matched the intensity. A lot of clutch buckets from 22 and 50. I wish Dante had connected that big jam at the end the place would have gone superNOVA! He was "warming up" with 2 in a row I think!
Sebastion Telfaire does a great job at pretending to be an NBA player. If they still had Dragic they might be above Denver / Utah.

It seems like every time Memphis comes out with a so so first quarter and I turn the channel they end up winning the game. Maybe I should do that more often and then do like last night and turn the game back on in the fourth

.
Even with Rudy having such a big game I still thought it was the overall balance from alot of different players that contributed to the win, which is how they have been winning lately. And having that balance and depth going into the playoffs is going to be a big confidence boost to all the players who will be chomping at the bit ready to go in and do their part.
But what was with Gortat totally dominating Gasol to the point that Hollins switched and had Speights guarding Gortat? That was what frustrated me to the point of changing the channel. I missed the entire second and third quarters. I realize that with Randolph being out so much this season that Gasol played big minutes in trying to make up for it but I wonder if he has hit the wall a bit and needs some rest the last week or so to be refreshed for the playoffs.

you should have kept the channel on because we were shooting 67% in the first quarter and still had the lead despite all the layups the Suns were getting. They just wanted it more early on and attacked the paint like no other. But Gortat and Childress were no-shows in the 2nd. It was a pretty fun game and you're right, the balanced effort from the whole grizz team is what did it. They broke the Suns physically and mentally. They started getting Techs and frustrated. Telfaire took an elbow to Arenas, etc. They responded as well as they could but clearly the Memphis Grizzlies are destined for greater things this year.
