I hope Tony Wroten impresses if they stay at #25 but Royce White would be an interesting selection.

I've been outspoken about picking Royce White at #25. If he's available there (which I doubt), he would be an obvious selection. Apart from him, I would trade the pick.

I'm just hopeful that we will add some top picks to our workout schedules.

Word on the street (or according to Chris Vernon) C. Wallace is raving about Harrison Barnes and did interview him this week, he is not my first choice at the SF in the draft and I love Carolina.

This organization as in recent years have atended workouts at other teams facilities due to having a hard time having players commit and show up here. It is quit embarassing to have a player turn your organization down for a workout. Sometimes they draft a player they do not workout which is crazy but that is how you end up with Hasheem Thabeet.

Sometimes I seriously wonder about people. If we select Harrison Barnes, I am going to be very upset. That is the worst possible option for us. He is an underachieving jump shooter who shot a low percentage by reported "shooters" standards last year. I don't care if he has all the character in the world. He can't create his own shot off the dribble and is not athletic enough to play Grizzlies style defense. Would be the worst case scenario for me in the entire draft. (maybe Jeremy Lamb etc would be comparable)

This whole thing with the draftees and this organization has been notoriously documented. This city hasn't been a major draw for players and I guess some draftees outright. Likely due to the city's small market and lack of better activities that would draw more premier free agents.

Yeah but if we build a winning culture, the players will come. We already drew Tony Allen, and look how valuable he has been for us. Zach Randolph also wasn't a bad free agent addition. We didn't draw the big names, but we may down the road. We have a great fan base and we are developing a tough persona that will attract some players looking for a stylistic fit down the road.

Good point J-man. The Grizz have build up the Grit-N-Grind style and the players have fallin in line with the system. Just need some necessary tweaks and get back to achieving better success come the following season.

Jenkins left after his junior year, wasn't a senior. Just nitpicking.

Thanks for the video link btw.

Add Evan Fournier to the list, according to this report http://hoopfocus.com/2012/06/12/evan-fo ... mavericks/

He's top international draft prospect in this year's draft. Video in the link above, for those interested.

Day 2 Workouts

http://www.nba.com/grizzlies/video/2012 ... index.html

On Evan Fournier, seems like a solid offensive contributer with his ability to drive into the lane, good ball handling ability, and can stretch out the offense with his 3 point shooting. The same area he will have to continue to get better at while time goes along. Defensively is where Fournier will need some improvements. I can see this guy going late in the first round pending on the workouts.

WOW this is really puzzling as all of those guys are the lucky to go in the second round crew. We currently don't have a 2nd rounder this year and why on earth would you spend cash on a 2nd given our cap situation, and granted you can trade for a pick but that is not exactly the deal the fanbase is hoping for.

Like you said, they are lucky to go in the 2nd round. (at least some of them) I'm guessing that we are scouting for undrafted FAs and auditioning people for summer league. I don't like the undrafted people that we are bringing on. For example, Ryan Allen was an 8ppg scorer at Wisconsin Milwaukee. I wrote a note to the Grizzlies recommending some people. Haven't responded yet.

grizz need to draft Scott Machado/Wroten for backup PG or Ezeli/Melo for the backup C, any other pick is a waste
