I was really looking forward to this game but lately both C's and Grizz have STUNK.

It would be by luck if you catch a Grizz fan that far up in Beantown. As for the game itself, yeah this could go either way. Both teams have some redeeming to do in the eyes of their fans. BTW, good with Maria. She is definately a Boston sports diehard.

This offense is SLOPPY. Perimeter D has not been good either.
Also, not to hate, but Rudy looks like he's totally forgotten how to play basketball.

This Celtics squad is very mediocre. I'm glad Grizz have gotten a little separation, but I'm a little concerned with the way our starting 5 started out.

Rudy Gay HAS to be better than he's been. If it's injury, then fine, but he needs to improve. His game in Boston was better, but the Grizz will only go as far as he goes.

I saw 2 fans that were probably in high school. One of them had on a SIGNED #50 jersey. I yelled at him "ZBO!!!!!!!!" and he just looked at me like I was crazy. I shook my head and said "you are an idiot man". His friend seemed to get it but he just looked confused. I wonder where he got the jersey? I usually run into one or two fans each time I go to the Celtics Grizz games but they are never into it. They always seem surprised when I say "Go Grizz" or whatever. New York is much different because I think there are actually a lot of people from the Memphis area living there and I run into super fans there from time to time. I'm hoping Brooklyn game in February is better.

As for the game itself... a win is a win. I'll take it. Conley I focused on it warmups - I didn't see him miss a single shot from 3 in warmup. And it transferred to the game obviously. I also watched Haddadi take about the same number of 3s as Conley and only hit the rim a few times. He should NEVER shoot a 3 in a game!

Overall a pretty sloppy game and Boston fans are agitated. They're talking about Demarcus Cousins and Fab Melo. They're getting desperate. They call themselves the Lakers of the East now with how disappointing it is.

I may be going to NYC again in April too. Brooklyn game Feb24 - be there or be square.
