Nice GT!

Love this rivalry. Bet it will be as tough as the Thunder/Clips game from last weekend. We need this win in a big way.

BTW, we have hit a dry spell with the GTs' as of late. Maybe this game will wake us all up later tonight.

I have strong confidence in your team, I also bet money that you'd win tonight by at least 6. So please win

For what it's worth, the Grizz played last night in Portland, while the Clippers rested. In other words, I don't think that I would have made the same bet you did, but who knows how it will go.

Clips putting on the zone defense they used on the Thunder two weeks ago. They need to adjust and do better with the rebounding. Too many second chance pts for the Clips

Grizz up 11 at this point.

Grizz 96
Clips 85

All around effort for the squad.

I hope we keep shooting 50% from three in future contests! Somehow I doubt it though...

I thought Grizzlies play very well on pick and roll offense and defense. Off the ball move had been improve after Rudy Gay trade. Because Tayshaun Prince is passing ball and defense is better than Rudy Gay.

NICE BET! I am on east coast so I was in bed before this game even tipped off. I'm amazed at what they've done these past 2 nights. I really hope they can keep this up for Friday night --- I'll be at the game in Denver! so huge! :D

Well, I was wrong - the Grizz brought the energy from wire to wire last night. Enjoy your winnings.

Hey Grizz fans. What do you think about Ed Davis so far?

He's coming along nicely and starting to produce. A couple of thoughts

- He's better at protecting the rim as an off-the-ball, help defender than I thought
- BUT, the flip side to the above, is that he gets caught watching the ball and lets his man cut to the hoop wide open at times
- His thin frame lets him get backed down and bullied by stronger power forwards
- Overall, his offensive game is more limited than I thought; he hasn't shown a face up jumper from any distance or a back to the basket post game - he's getting his bucks after having the table set by Gasol or Conley and cleaning up missed shots from his teammates (which generally leads to efficient scoring)
- His length and athleticism is something the Grizz did not have on the roster before
- His free throw shooting is Dwight Howard level awful right now

At this point, I think I still prefer a healthy Darrell Arthur over him if Hollins is going to stick with a 3 big rotation; but I hope that Hollins will use both Arthur and Davis in a 4 big rotation. The problem with playing them both at the same time is that neither of them can consistently get you buckets in a post up situation - which is the entire basis of our offense - meaning our offense reverts to Bayless pick and rolls with Arthur/Davis when they're playing together.
