This is awesome - I can't remember any other owner in any other sport doing something like this.

While I'm sure that Allen should/will dominate Pera, it's a very weird position for him, right? He has to let the boss get some buckets, but then he can't lose either.

For his part, Pera can supposedly dunk and play relatively well (compared to an average Joe, but not compared to NBA players). IIRC, he's 6'2 or 6'3, so he's not giving up much height to Allen, although Allen is obviously the better player and athlete.

Meanwhile, Zbo is the ref, and he *could* have a hand in the outcome - if he were so inclined - but he's kind of in the same situation of Allen, to a lesser degree.

Should be entertaining.

so awesomes! Levien was saying he is like 6'6" but I think he was exaggerating and he also has a 36" vertical jump (pera I mean)... But he was definitely exaggerating --- still. And there was a video /photo of him shooting with mike Miller the other day.

With no notice of a reschedule and the season quickly approaching, I think it's safe to say that it was too good to be true. At this juncture, Pera and Heisley have played the same amount of one-on-one games against the Grizzlies players.
