Is this the year the Grizzlies finally win a season opener?

That lineup was according to NBA.com. If there is a lineup change by game time. Fine with me. Considering how the team ended their last two games, is their some concerns about how they enter tonight's game being the underdogs and being able to play better than what their last two games produced?

because of how we were swept at home in games 3 and 4 I think they will come out and steal this one. I could be wrong though. A lot of changes on both benches, but still the same basic teams that are going to go at each other hard. I think we have youth on our side to come out on top tonight.

Nice little move there from Gasol.
Followed up by a Bayless turnover to no one..

Ugh, that second quarter was awful. Why did Bayless play back up PG almost exclusively? If there was anything we learned last season about Bayless, it's that he is a much better player off the ball.
On a sidenote, our new "offense" looks like nothing more than the chaos of random pick-and-rolls that you see in a pick-up game among people that know each others game. I understand that San Antonio was actively trying to take away the paint, but we have to look for Zbo and Marc in the post on the regular if we want to consistently manufacturer good offensive possessions.

Bayless loves to have the ball in his hands at the end of quarters and everytime he screws it up.
Thought coach should have kept Jon Leuer in the 4th and not bring back ZBo in. Lastly, those two miracle 3 pointers by Parker and Green when we were making that run killed us

not a lot of good to takeaway from that one. well, 81 more times to get better I guess.

2nd quarter was downfall. Grizz outscored them by 14 in the 2nd half, but you lose 2nd quarter 30-7.
Koufas only played 14 minutes and thought he deserved more than that. Thought ZBo would come out on fire, but didn't see the energy from him.
Koufas was +11
Leuer was +11
Quincy +9
And what the heck was TA working on his corner 3 in the off-season, he made 3 last night and only made 3 all last year.
