I hope I am not jinxing them - but for the record - the Grizzlies have won every game this year that I've done the game threads for on here!

what a comeback in the 3rd..... but may not be enough. spurs really have our asses.

I just hope Gasol is ok. Glad to see Koufos doing well in his absence but we need the big man. Grizz so close to being here with Spurs yet so far away. Spurs just have our number.... 2 minutes and down by 9... looks out of range.

grizzlies must be hungover from their road trip. The spurs have not played particularly well. they certainly played well enough to win, but they don't look like "world beaters". they never have though even when they won it all.... i guess they're deceptive.

Mike Miller has looked really bad this game. I question his presence after this game. Didn't he kill them on the Heat ? Kill the spurs? tongiht he can't hit a broad side of a barn.

Mike Conley has been featured throughout the game by ESPN. I have to offer an official apology to him- he's played allstar level. But as the Grizzlies go, Conley goes, so when they struggle I have to criticize him. I don't know why the Grizzlies have lost this game though by such a margin. It's gone "out of sync" as hubie brown just said. what happen?

Yeah it seems we need more scoring punch from the wing for games like this. Q-Pon is nowhere to be found and Mike Miller's jump shot has abandoned him these last two games, I hope his back is not bothering him.

Jareyd Bayless has also been disappointing as of late. This game was there for the taking but what is really alarming was the Spurs actually had a bad game and they beat us going away way to easily.

I missed the game. Heard the score on the radio. The Spurs are too good and seem to have an answer for the Grizzlies inspite of the ending score. The short rotation could be playing a role. Need to find a way to alleviate some minutes. May need to make some moves to balance things out and maintain our chances in the Western Conference.

Let's be real - the common thread in Grizzlies' losses is extended PT for Ed Davis. Hopefully, Gasol has nothing more than a sprained knee, and he'll heal well.

Edit: On an unrelated note, I think Baron Davis is our "washed up PG signed as a backup for playoffs" this year, in the same vein as Gilbert Arenas and Keyon Dooling. Just a prediction.

Rumuors that Gasol has done an MCL.

Might be looking at a month, at least, without him if that's the case...
