This weekend just turn out to be one for the remaining teams to no longer be unbeaten. This happen to the Grizzlies as they ended losing by 1pt. This came down to crucial fouling at the wrong time. Not enough emphasis on the defensive end along with playing a resiliant Thunder team who the Grizzlies had isues with putting them away.
Anytime you have to fight tooth and nail to win a previous game, it tends to lead to a loss in the next game because you had to spend a lot of energy to put a team away who refuse to stay down for the count.
This next match against the Lakers cannot be underestimated as they claimed their first win of the season and on the road no less against the struggling Bobcats. Kobe will get his, but everyone else needs to be put in their place. Do what you have to do to get back to winning. Keep from making crucial mistakes and the Grizzies should get a win at the end of the game.

im so upset that Gasol is no taking 20 shots a game, or attacking the basket... but at least
we have the best record!

This should be a blowout. Barely winning against a depleted thunder team and losing against the lowly bucks is not a good look. Not sure that i'll watch though, watching kobe hog the ball and put up 25 contested jumpers is pretty boring imo.
Any news about vince? Considering that he's limping so much, always has a bag of ice on his ankle and sat out the loss i think it's safe to assume his offseason surgery wasn't a huge success.

Tony Allen has historically given Kobe fits....

And Kobe always hate that sh*t. Matt Barnes, Raja Bell, Ruben Patterson, Ron Artest, Bruce Bowen were another set of guys that used to give Kobe all kinds of fits.

Beno Udrih is killing it right now. Mike Conley shooting well from outside.....nice steal and finish. Largest lead of night....Grizz up 13.

Tony Allen - great D when it counts - pulling the chair from Kobe and then pushing it. Needs to make his FTs though.

Grizz have choked away a 16 pt lead.....Kobe hitting some shots ....Lin playing well.
The Grizz need to move the ball.....5 second call!!! Collapse.

Oh man, i wish i could see and hear the conversation between jordan hill and kobe after the game. Anyway, another not so great game, at least the bench finally stepped up a bit. This team's very lucky they've had one of the easiest schedules so far, their record could have looked a lot worse at this point.

100% agree.
I dont think Gasol worth a max contract right now. If hes going to play this way, i would take Parker & Sanders in a break, seriously... do it now with the best record.
The Gasol curse

The good news is the Grizz bench produced after a pretty abysmal start this season and really won the game.
It was disturbing having Gasol and Z-Bo both have "off" nights.
I'd still like to see Adams and Stokes get some minutes to see how much if any they can help out.
(I'm from Cleveland and a Cavs fan but root for the Grizz because I have lived in Memphis for 18 years.)
Yesterday on the radio Parrish said the Grizz should have planend to call a time out and make an announcement of Kobe getting the missed shots record while runnijng a montage of Kobe putting uop bricks on the Jumbotron.
That would have been hilarious.

Our bench stepped up in the game our bigs stepped down. They must work on this inconsistency, against a top 15 team we would lose by 15

First off, welcome aboard!
Second, it would've been a BURN if the Grizzlies would' ve took a TO for the Grizzlies PA to make an announcement about Kobe's new record. When you think about it, that's the equivalent of Brett Farve's record for most NFL interceptions in NFL history.

I'm glad we didn't. Kobe is the type of player who plays with a killer instinct, but may take it to another level if he feels scorned....does not let that type of stuff go.
