We are at home against a surprisingly good Kings team. Conley must contain Collison off the bounce, and our bigs need to focus in on Cousins inside. We can't let him find a rhythm. We should let Rudy drive into space and dribble around, as it will throw off spacing for Cousins inside.

We need to look better and not give up the lead, as we did at the end of the last one. We need consistency from Conley and Marc above all else. The bench has been doing their job.

The Kings have improve a little bit. Cousins seems to have calmed down a lot. So far in these matchups, Cousins hasn't played his best games against the Grizzlies only averaging 15pts a game.

Athleticism is what the Grizzlies need to slow down from the Kings. They have to denied them the inside game and force them to make outside shots. As evident in their last two losses as both Dallas and OKC forced the Kings to the perimeter to force their hand.

I will be personally watching Jason Thompson and Derrrick Williams, hoping one of them could potentially land in Memphis via trade and solve the backup Power forward riddle we currently have. Jon Luer does not seem up for the challenge and Joerger is not considering the rookie (Stokes) at all right now. I would prefer not to have any major holes in our roster. Prior to the season, there was word Sacramento was looking to possibly unload a power forward.

I don't think derrick will play much, he's averaging 5mpg. I would like to see him though, i think his skillset could work here if they eventually make lee the 6th man. Can you imagine the burst of energy of the bench with lee and derrick running the floor? Although i'm not entirely convinced he's ready to have such a big role at this point.

Then there's still jason thompson like you said and carl landry as well. Personally, i like landry the most as far as his overall game but of course he does have some injury history. Jason thompson is a mystery to me, he has great physical tools and seems to be skilled but somehow it doesn't really translate on the court (going by the stats). I haven't seen him play much though so i'm looking forward to "examine" his flaws a bit.

At one point, I thought that Jason Thompson would be able to put it all together to make a solid career for himself. So far, I haven't been too impressed with what he has done so far into his career. I would classify him in the Stromile Swift pile. Seems to have good talent, but has yet to put in all together.

Has to be the worst game of the year. Grizzlies utterly miserable in the first quarter - could not stop Cousins. Marc Gasol was just awful in this one....could not rebound. The bench comes in and Koufas is playing some tough D on Cousins. Rudy Gay made minced meat of Pondexter. We are on a run, but I wonder based on how we started the game.

Prince should not be playing in an NBA game at this point - definitely doesn't deserve the start.

Leuer has looked better than Randolph and Gasol thus far. Brought a spark, as did Koufas.

Unheard of that Z-Bo has no points in the first half of the game. When the last time that's ever happened?

As for why Joerger thought starting Prince to counteract Rudy Gay was the solution, only God knows that mystery.

Kings robbed, ball left his hands prior to the shot clock even starting

The Grizz are fortunate this game was in Memphis so they got the help from the local shot clock operator but this wouldn't fly anywhere else imo.

Man I really needed this after the weekend of a Grizz loss at Milwaukee, followed up by LSU finding a way to lose against Alabama, then my Saints losing at home.

Winning games you shouldn't feels really good, this is a new feeling in Memphis.

Probably, your picture doesn't work though. Anyone with half a brain knows it's physically impossible to catch the ball, bring it down, put it back up and release in 0.3 seconds. Then again, ever since fisher's 0.4 bs we've seen those things quite regularly in those situations so let's not act like this is a rare occurrence.

Anyway, a win for the grizz and a big impact from vince (played pretty much the entire 4th if i'm not mistaken) so i'm happy i didn't turn off the game.
