Again, this is another tough matchup for us - this time on the road. I expect the Kings to play with some passion after they felt they were wronged in the previous game. Unfortunately for this team, that could mean that they are again overaggressive early. We need to put Tony Allen on Gay and do our best to help down on Cousins. We need to swarm him. He absolutely killed us last time, and he is dynamite as a 1 on 1 option on the low block. Let's not get an early deficit in this one.

Don't they play in Sleep Train Arena? It is Sac town so pretty hard to fathom it being Soul Train. SD must still have his mind on Vida? (And I don't blame you)

They do play at the Sleep Train Arena. I just dislike that name for a NBA Arena. Especially how the Kings have played these last few years. Although there is a Sleep Train Mattress Company in Sactown, the name is boring. So I rename it Soul Train Arena every time the Grizz play there until they rename the place something else. Until then
Love, Peace, and Soul!!

Zach Randolph came to play today: 11 points already and a beautiful steal and save off the leg of a Kings player. Really love his aggression early. He's doing this against Evans today too - someone who has historically given us some headaches in the playoffs.

Carter with a tough three off the bounce. Grizzlies are up early and Udrih and Randolph are showing off the Grizz's improved chemistry here.

Vince Carter is flexing his defensive muscles right now. Loving this game. He is playing his heart out right now.
Marc has continued his offensive prowess with his patented step back spinning turnaround off one foot. His vision has been tremendous as well (over the top of the defense).

As expected, Reggie Evans is having his way with the Grizzlies, giving us some serious headaches here. He is a Grizzlies-killer. 13 pts 10 boards.

37 years old and Vince still got it. He can play basketball forever. High IQ, can knock down a 3, and still got that bounce to his step.

This game is really starting to scare me. The Grizz look disjointed offensively, and are not boxing out on the defensive glass. The Kings are just killing them inside with second chance points.

Big time sky hook from Marc, straight out of KAJ's playbook.

No doubt they on top in the league right now. It's a great deal to be part of. As for the forum, it is what it is. It's fitting that this team is winning and playing well. The team, like this forum is not getting the popularity some feel it deserves. Maybe it's irony, maybe it's destined to play out this way.
