We cannot give the Spurs as many open looks as we did last time around. We need to guard their spot up shooters like we did Curry and stop switching and hoping we will recover. Or we can play it by ear and see who is cold and let him bury the team, as we did tonight to a certain extent.

Another issue to boot will be the double teams the Grizzlies will get thrown their way. They have to find a better way to find the open player who can knock the shot. Also do a better job defending the Spurs pick and roll schemes.

It will be so easy for the guys to go there and accept the L so I am interested to see if the fact that these guys have outsmarted us and out played us for a while now drive their focus when everything says we should lose.
The hard part about facing the Spurs for us is they are hard to hate as they don't do anything that we can respond to on an emotional level like the Thunder, Clippers, and Lakers. They are truly professional and they just go about their business without bravado or arrogance.
The Philly game was the absolutely the last game you should ever lose and we almost did and this Spurs game on the second night of a back to back is the absolutely the last game our team should expect to win. So here we are. Everything about this season so far has been better than we could expect so why not tonight we grow the legend a little bit more.

Grizz playing well so far tonight in the 3rd. Conley not really scoring, but he is facilitating and filling up the stat sheet. Randolph has hit some nice shots and grabbed some key rebounds. Grizz perimeter defense has been stifling.

Manu is continuing his hot streak against the Grizz. His three there cuts the lead to 11.

Spurs come all the way back to tie it in the fourth on a Belinelli three. Now it is all about how we respond. Our offense has looked disjointed so far.

Koufas is really keeping us in the game with some nice inside buckets. We need to stop trying to match their threes and grab a defensive board.

How is that an offensive foul on Randolph? He was clearly boxing Duncan out. Terrible homecooking.

The Spurs are tighten the defense on the Grizz offense.

Four Spurs in the paint and one Randolph....guess who got the rebound? Unreal.

Exact same play with even less contact than Marc Gasol play on the other end. Horrible officiating in this one.

Duncan really struggling at the FT line. Grizzlies down 3.

Actually on the replays, both plays did not look like fouls.

Grizzlies let the Spurs back in this game. The most dangerous thing a team can do against a team like the Spurs. They have too many weapons and they have lost two in a row.
Grizz better do something now to get this win.

Unbelievable hustle by Carter, the Grizz work around the perimeter and Conley nails a clutch 3 pter to tie it. Clutch personified.

That is true. Refs made the wrong call.

Danny Green has been wide open all night. Way too much gambling on D. Box and one him.
