Garnett will probably be suspended for this one, so Zbo should have barbecue Chicken in the post. IF we do a much better job of defending the three point shots it should be a victory. First game for Jeff Green, but he probably will not start in this one.

Plumlee is a lot better and Lopez is playing - I don't think our advantage is really in the post here. I think we need Conley to go off and really shut Jack down on the defensive end. Tony Allen also must be a factor defensively in this one.

Me too. We have to tweak the lineups to find the optimal combination here.

Will be in the building for this game. Don't see the Nets scoring much as they have been in a slump as of late.

That slump has been a brutal one for the Nets. And given the fact the Nets have been put up for sale, may not do these guys much favors in terms of their longevity. Would not be surprise if that team goes into rebuild mode before the deadline.

For them to rebuild that would entail finding buyers for those (3) huge contracts currently on their books, Williams, Johnson, and Lopez. Billy King would have to be a Magician to pull that off, so they will be bad enough to not make the playoffs be a lottery team and not get their own draft picks, since they owe so many to Boston and other teams. The future does not look bright so whomever buys them it will be purely out of vanity and not because of what they can be.

On point with that post. The Nets blew their wad too early instead of building towards the climax. Now they find themselves stuck with a lot of payroll and scrambling to trade off their overpay contracts off to other teams willing to handle it.

I seriously considered getting in the car at 330pm and driving to this game today. sucks that they come on a bloody wednesday night. March they return to Boston again on Wednesday.. hell.. my luck.

I'm hopin' for a Jeff Green coming out party and grizz win by a lot. Although I probably just jinxed them all since last time I came on here I declared the Grizzlies the best team in the NBA and they went on a losing streak...

Grizzlies did a better job in the second half and managed to keep the Nets at bay to collect this road win. Welcome to the Grizzly Blue Jeff Green. He was solid in his first game In blue managing 10pts, 2dimes and 3rebs.

Only saw most of the second half - it appears the Grizz dominated inside. Calathes looked better from what I saw and Koufas was strong. Marc and Zach really carried us here and Allen's defense was on point. Lee hit a bunch of shots. Unfortunately, I did not see enough of Jeff Green to make a call either way in his first game here.

Really fun game to watch live. I was able to get cheap tickets, they really drop in price an hour before the game starts.

A few observations:

Lopez's body language was terrible, looked like he didn't wanna be there at all.
Jeff Green played well within the offense and picked his spots.
Allen played locked down D on Joe Johnson.
Plumlee has potential to become a top center in the league, has to learn how to box out though.

Great game by the grizzs. I couldnt check the boxscore just yet but I imagine we grabbed like 200 offensive boards. It was insane the wa many times we managed the get the board and start a new play. That and the freethrows were the key in this game imo.

About green, it was just the first game. He was kind of lost in some plays but it is like it was supposed to be. Allen played more aggresive on the offensive end in this game, I liked that but please, do not allow him to shot a single three. In nba2k id blame the release time but in real life he is just that bad beyond the arc!

It's funny how roster moves improve the performance of others!

TA and Lee both made a case for them not being the one to sit and Jeff Green start, which may cause Coach J to wait a little longer than after the Orlando game to make the switch.

Calathes also seemed to make a statement with his play for those like myself who feel he can be moved now that Russ Smith is in the fold.
