I went to the game as planned. Overall, I'll give it a B+.
The Grizz and Magic both played relaxed bball in the first quarter in the first quarter just feeling each other out. The second quarter, the Grizz got going little by little on both ends of the floor. Before I knew it, they were up by 17 at the end of the first half. The Magic just shot themselves out of the game. Like my sis said, they live and die by the 3ball too much. The lack of experience pretty much exposed them to the Grizzlies once again and the Grizz capitalize on it. Some mistakes the Grizzlies made tonight were on taking risky passes to the point where if the Magic were a better team, the TOs' would've been higher than tonight's count. Also transition defense is another mistake I noticed from the Grizz from the first half. If an up-tempo team force the Grizzlies on their heels in transition, the Grizz would be in trouble. The Magic did exploit them for a least three or four possessions to my recall. Finally, the bench did solid for all it's worth, but the same problem still rear it's ugly head, still finding ways on giving up big leads. Need to address that issue. If they can make another move to better their bench production, they could make a tough beeline to the finals.
