Quick question, with the addition of Arron Afflalo to the Blazers bench, do some of you think the move will benefit the Blazers in the long run and how it will Afflalo will influence things as far as tonight's matchup?

This matchup will come down to defensive tenacity. If the Grizzlies managed to park the Blazers on the perimeter and make them shoot the rock from out there contested, their chances increases better towards winning. Also hitting the boards is an all out must.

Key matchups worth watching

Conley v. Lillard- who will out clutch the other on the hardwood.
Allen v Matthews- Matthews fits in that Mike Finley/Eddie Jones category. Underrated SG who doesn't get much respect as deserve. I dare to put Allen on him to keep Matthews from scoring 20pts plus.
GaZ-Bo vs. LMA/RoLo always look forward to this matchup. It sound be another good one.

Bench matchup: Lee v Afflalo- My take is whoever contributes better on both ends of the floor will be the X-Factor who wins the game.

Update: Blazers reported that LMA will not play tonight vs. the Grizzlies.

Grizzlies haven't played in forever so we should expect some rust.

As far as Affalo goes he is much needed for POR as their bench desperately needs some help.

Zbo should feast in the paint too as LMA is outie.

Need to hold on to this lead after fighting hard to get this game back to their advantage.

Congrats on the win guys. Sadly as a Blazers fan I am used to seeing my team blow 10 pt plus leads in fourth quarters but Memphis is pretty impressive at controlling momentum in general

Grizzlies get out of Portland with a needed win. After finding themselves down 13 at the end of the third, the Grizz had to create opportunities on the defensive end by forcing TOs' , forcing steals, and shutting down key players like Matthews and make the necessary shots to get win #40.

I guess, I shouldn't be surprised but after that third quarter it was hard to imagine winning, but they pulled it out.
