No doubt this will be a loss on national T.V. How bad the score will be at the end is anyone's guess.

I think we have a chance. The wizards haven't been very hot lately, only won 3 out of their last 10 and 7 out of their last 20. Of course those were away games) Meanwhile we have some players with something to prove who should get some extra time/touches and of course washington might be underestimating us given the absence of marc, zbo, conley and allen.

Don't get me wrong, i'm expecting a loss but i wouldn't say it's a sure thing. Stranger things have happened. I'm sure now that i made this post we'll lose by 30 but i guess we'll have to wait and see.

Edit: they even lost against minny, philly and detroit during the last 10. Of course those were away games though which are usually harder.

Dammit, it's already halftime. I forgot about daylight savings time in the us. Anyway, only down by 13 points. It could be worse.

I have tickets for the Wizards Game in Memphis in a couple weeks. I will be there!! THERE BETTER BE MAJOR RETRIBUTION! The Grizzlies I hope know better than I and are playing the ultimate strategy. Because as a fan this is a disaster. This is pathetic. these people only get to see the Grizzlies once a year in their arena and you give them a rubber hot dog instead of a steak? SHAME!

My observations from the 2nd half.

I take one positive from this game. Jarnell stokes, i'm liking him more and more. He should be the go-to backup pf imo. Until recently i was a little worried about him being so young but he's playing with poise well beyond his years.

Jamychal made quite a few dumb plays which is obviously a negative. Leuer looked alright but that's to be expected in a game like this where his offense is sorely needed. I think jarnell is the best fit when there are more scorers available.

Russ looked horrible, he obviously has the physical tools (speed/quickness) but he just plays out of control. Jordan adams didn't do much, the only things i remember are his two dumb offensive fouls and him passing up some open looks. I guess he does have the rookie jitters like the average 20yo unlike jarnell. Everybody else was pretty much as you'd expect.

Things were hopeful for a minute but of course washington went on a run after that 3 by wall. The defense on that 3 has to be one of the most lackluster efforts i have ever seen btw.

Joerger used the game to evaluate talent and aside from Stokes no one really impressed. The thing with Stokes is will he able to defend his position?

I don't think it really matters, it's not like leuer or either of the greens are better defenders at pf. At least with stokes there's a small chance that his physicality will bother some of the big name pf's he could go up against.

I can't wait to see him get more minutes, effort like that is always a joy to watch and it looks like he has a soft touch around the basket as well. He literally looked like a man among boys at times. I almost want to say he's my new favorite power forward but that's probably a little early.
