It's possible. Not saying he's automatically just dead set on Dakari anymore than Joerger is deadest on Pat Connaughton from the first workout. It's likely that Wallace was mostly impress with DJ's workout today to where he may have earn his name on Wallace's list of interest.

Is it crazy to have a gut feeling that Dakari may turn into Daniel Orton?

You're not the only one. I was talking to some Magic fans about Daniel Orton last week and how wasted of a pick he turned out as I expected. To be honest, if the Grizz get another second round pick, I think he should use that on a SF if they are not able to get one with the 25th pick as planned.

Dakari seems to be decent, but I do get the gut feeling of Orton, I would much rather get someone like Jaieth out of France if we got an early 2nd pick

I have some reservations about Jaieth as well. He seems to have Johan Petro/Olumide Oyedeji written all over him.

only big i really like in the 2nd is Upshaw. he looks good when he was putting in effort , watching his interview he seems to get that he's only got 1 shot . that's just a single interview though but i really hope the grizz give him a good look .

Alpha too ,he's a guy we would have to stick with for awhile , not sure we do that with stokes & jam around .

Dunno, but I´m more and more convinced that we should take Pat Connaghton. He doesn´t have a high upside, but his floor intrigues me a lot!

From the interview, PC seems to have a good head on his shoulders and is aware of what he's capable of in terms of his skills set. He's seems very dedicated to the game of bball and looks like he has something to prove. Sort of like Wesley Matthews and Raja Bell when their careers started in Utah and Philadelphia respectively. Right now, I think he could start off as a bench player, but if his work ethic proves true, he could earn a starting role within two to three years. Can't say the Grizzlies will be the team that may trade for him or what. Just thinking he could have a shot if the right opportunity comes along.
